Departures are usually from Valladolid, which is our headquarters and from here we head to La Rioja. Ideally we look for small groups so that we can tailor our services to the utmost quality and thereby maintain a very personal experience.

The visit includes tours of some of the most prestigious wineries in Spain as well as recent archaeological excavations, modern architecture all of which blends in seamlessly into the natural surroundings. Of course the trip will also include the sampling of some excellent wines.

Whilst walking through the vineyards you will learn how the grapes develop from the early stages right until they are picked to make the wine. You will also discover different types of grapes and how to distinguish between them as well as learning about the full wine making process. You will be able to breathe in all the viticulture within the majestic and natural surroundings of the wineries.

You will also be able to sample the finest gastronomy of Castile and La Rioja in the best local restaurants as well as in the wineries themselves. In some cases you will also be able to dine outside in the open air.

Castles, wine museums, Monasteries, archaeological sites…..you will pass through villages full of tradition and history and experience musical renditions held next to stones that are centuries old. You will be taken on a train route as well as other unforgettable journeys…
